For my 30th birthday, Drew planned a great, fun-filled weekend! He invited my parents, and my sister's family to join us for a Cincinnati Reds baseball game. Then after the game, my parents would take Jenna and Grant back to their house while Drew, Hannah, and I stayed at a hotel in the area and did some shopping on Saturday. Unfortunately, the weather did not agree with Drew's plans, so we had to split up the weekend and postpone the baseball game for another day. Drew, Hannah, and I still went down to Cinci that weekend, and had a great time with lots of shopping and uninterrupted adult conversations! :)
The baseball game was rescheduled for May 10th and, once again, the weather was looking "iffy." The forecast called for lots of rain and possibly thunderstorms. Just as we got to our seats it started lightly raining, so we just moved back a few rows until we were under the awning. The rain didn't last long and there weren't any thunderstorms, so the weather turned out to be pretty nice! The game was a lot of fun and even Jenna and Grant really enjoyed it. Grant was mesmerized by the fire that would blow out of two torches whenever the other team struck out. And of course, what's a baseball game without food?! We enjoyed the $1 hotdogs, popcorn, soft pretzels, and ice-cream. Hannah did alright, but this was pre-pacifier, so she required a lot of walking and bouncing. Drew was GREAT though and held her the majority of the game, so I could enjoy my birthday gift. What a great guy I have!! :)

| Kelley bought some cotton candy and let Jenna and Grant try it for the first time. I was shocked to find that neither of them like it. What kids don't like cotton candy?! :) I'm not complaining though. |

| At the end of the game, they had an AMAZING fireworks show. We thought they would just set off a few fireworks and that would be it, but it was unbelievable! It was even better than Troy's 4th of July fireworks. SO GOOD! The kids were mesmerized by them. |
