Here are some pictures of Grant when he was less than a day old.

It's a Boy!!

Most of you already know, but the lack of posting is because "Baby B" arrived...and it's a boy! We named him Grant Peter Borton. Grant is a name both of us liked and Peter is Drew's middle name as well as his dad's, so we wanted to carry on the tradition.

Here's a recap of his arrival...

Drew and me before leaving for the hospital on Monday, July 26th (Grant's due date) at 8:30pm.

At the hospital working through the contractions. At this point I was 5 cm dilated and the contractions were coming 2-3 minutes apart.

This time around I chose to get the epidural. Oh so happy with the drugs! :) I didn't get the epidural until 1:30am, so it was wonderful not feeling the contractions and being able to sleep a little bit before Grant arrived.

He's here!! At 3:00am, I was only 8 cm dilated and by 3:08 I was 10 cm dilated and ready to push. After 30 mins of pushing, Grant arrived at 3:43am.
