Wergerzyn Gardens

Some friends of ours introduced us to a wonderful garden that is for both kids and adults. There are some beautiful walking paths and gazebos for the adults to enjoy and then a great activity area for the kids that is also educational. Jenna and I first visited with some friends, but then had to go back and bring Daddy. We had a great time exploring and playing!

Right when we walked in Jenna saw the "bird" (flamingo) hiding in the greenery.

They have a few caves that the kids can walk/run through.
Jenna loved running in and out of them.

How cute are these little rocking chairs?!?

Jenna and Mommy were in the canoe singing "Row, Row, Row Your Boat".

There's a musical section of the garden with lots of different instruments for the kids to play and bang on. Jenna especially liked the gong.

This was probably both Jenna and our favorite section. The kids can use the pump to fill some watering cans and then they go around and water the plants. Very fun...and messy!

Just as we began to walk through the "adult" section it started to rain,
so we had to cut our trip short, but we had a great time while we were there.

Feeding the ducks

Back in the beginning of September, we walked to our neighborhood park and brought along some (older) bread to feed the ducks. We weren't sure how "into it" Jenna would be but thought it might be fun. She did really well throwing the bread pieces for the ducks, although it usually ended up being one for her and then one for the ducks. Luckily the bread wasn't moldy yet. :) The ducks got rather close, which she enjoyed. And of course we had to play afterward - Jenna's a true outdoor girl. She LOVES being outside and especially enjoys the playground.

August Pics

As promised and way overdue...here are some pictures from August. Keep in mind in some of the pictures Grant was only a few weeks old. It's crazy to see how small he was then and how big he is now!!

The next few pictures are hilarious. Watch Jenna's reaction - her Aunt Kelley and Uncle Brian were trying to get her to smile for the pictures. Too cute!

Grant's first fohawk

Here Jenna's opening gifts from "B" (Jenna'a name for Drew's mom). We were calling her "Grandma B", but Jenna shortened it to just "B", which is perfect. Anyway, "B" got Jenna some great gifts to help with having a little sibling - she now has her own baby carrier, diaper bag, baby doll, and stroller. She loves it! The other day we had to run an errand and she ran over and grabbed her baby carrier with her baby doll in it and brought it out to the car with us. Haha!

When we had the pool out, Jenna always wanted to get some water for Bailey, which usually Bailey appreciated.
