Instead of doing separate posts, I decided to lump them all together into one - so here are all our Fall festivities from this past month!

| Enjoying all the games and activities at our church's annual Fall Festival |

| Grant's first horse ride |
| Before carving pumpkins we read the book, My Happy Pumpkin by Chrystal Bowman. It's a story that parallels a pumpkin to a Christian. Just like a person is filthy in sin, so is a pumpkin dirty in the pumpkin patch, but Christ cleans you up, takes out the yucky stuff inside you, and makes you new again. Then you shine your light for others to see what Jesus has done in your life. |

| All dressed up in their Halloween costumes - both Jenna and Grant picked out their costumes from their dress-up box. I had picked up those outfits from a garage sale a few years back. So Grant is obviously Spiderman and Jenna deemed herself a "Pumpkin Princess." Hannah is also a Pumpkin Princess, per the writing on her shirt. :) |
| A few days before trick-or-treat, while on a school field trip with Jenna, I saw a little girl with this adorable pumpkin barrette in her hair. I asked her mom where she got it and picked one up for Jenna (for only $3!!). I think it completed her outfit - so cute! |

| Don't you just love the faux muscles?! :) |
| The sweetest little Pumpkin Princess around! |
| The week before Halloween we took the kids trick-or-treating at my Dad's place of employment - a nursing home. The residents line up throughout the hallways and passed out candy to the kids. It's so sweet! They seem to really enjoy seeing all the adorable kids dressed up, and I love that they're able to participate in that. (And a side note: I crack up every time I see Grant with his Spiderman "mask" on. It never fit his face quite right and was always skewed, but it didn't seem to bother him one bit.) |
| Jenna loves her cousins and is always wanting to hold their hands (or carry them). |
