It's been a little while since our last update, so there's a lot to tell. Christmas with Kristin's family was great. We celebrated Dec. 23rd with the Jones's, the 24th with each other, the 25th with Kristin's immediate family, and the 26th with the Shafers. Talk about spreading it out!
Highlights included giving digital picture frames to both sets of grandparents (who LOVED them!), seeing extended family, and Drew getting a motorcycle!! Woohoo!!!! Boy, was that a surprise. Since it's a dirt bike and not a street bike, Drew hasn't really had a chance to ride it much (just around the block) and is anxious for the weather to get better.
Kristin left on Thursday for a high school friend's wedding over in Bloomington, Indiana. Drew went over on Friday and we made the three-hour trek home late Saturday night. Kristin enjoyed catching up with her three best friends from high school.
Kristin's been enjoying her time off, and isn't ready to go back to school quite yet. :) There was some snow last night, and Piqua (north of us by 10 min) closed for the day. Tipp City goes back to school tomorrow, so it didn't matter for Kristin; but her mom, who works in Piqua, was glad for the snow day and the extra day off.
Drew goes back to school on Monday, so he needs to make a trip down to the Univ. of Dayton bookstore and get everything ready for classes. Not having homework has been REALLY nice.
We have more pictures from Christmas, so we'll probably upload those later. Hope everyone had a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
