Some friends from church informed us of a FREE program that the Troy Police Department puts on each summer for four- and five-year olds called Safe-T Town. The kids meet each day for an hour and a half for one week and learn about fire safety, railroad safety, buckling their seat belts, crossing the streets safely, and "stranger danger." So we signed Jenna up for it since those are important things to learn!
| Our friends from church were there on the day for the fire truck, so they snapped a picture of Jenna sitting in the truck. The kids also got to spray the hose. |
| They transform the cafeteria of the Troy Jr. High to look like a miniature town with crosswalks, roads, stop signs, and stop lights. They also have big wheels with seat belts for the kids to ride around town. |
| The class got to put their hand print on the side of one of the houses. Can you find Jenna's? |
| The last day of class is their graduation ceremony. Parents come and watch the kids ride around the town on their big wheels, while other kids then act as pedestrians, looking both ways before walking across the street. |
| Jenna enjoyed riding around the town. |
| She's just a little excited to be a pedestrian. Jumping for joy! |
| After their show, they lined up and sang a song about the stop light. "Red on the top means stop, stop, stop. Yellow in the middle means be careful when you're little. Green on the bottom means...GO!!" |
| The ceremony took place mid morning, so Drew wasn't able to come, but both Grant and Hannah did a fantastic job. Grant sat patiently and quietly during the whole thing and Hannah sat silently in her car seat and just smiled. |

| Grant joined her. |

| Jenna and her friend, Carter, from church. And yes, Carter is a year older than Jenna. ;) Too funny! |
