Random Pictures from January

Two posts two days in a row...wow! I thought I'd post some pictures we've taken of Jenna from January.

These are pics from the first big snowfall we had in early January. (Yes, I know I'm a dork with my jeans tucked into my boots...haha!)

Jenna was not a fan of laying in the snow, nor did she want to learn how to make snow angels.

Jenna LOVES playing the piano with her daddy.

Don't worry...Drew was right next to her in this picture. :)

Yes, she got into the pantry and when I found her she was digging into the raisins...by the fistful!

Daddy let Jenna "have a go" at her yogurt on her own. Needless to say, Mommy was definitely not around during this. Gross! :)

And this face is what my sister so appropriately dubbed "the chucky face". She will randomly make this face at us while breathing like Darth Vader. It is too funny!

Also, here are two more videos from January of Drew and me playing with our little girl. She is such a joy!

Snow, Snow, and More Snow

Well, we've definitely had our fair share of snow this year...and I think we're all ready for it to be over! A few weeks back we had a BIG snowstorm that left us with a couple feet of snow.

We decided to take Jenna outside to play in the snow and to give her a ride on a sled. Since we didn't have any snow boots for Jenna and we couldn't bring ourselves to buy brand new ones that she'd probably only wear once or twice, we decided to steal our friend, Tami Delimpo's idea. So we wrapped Jenna's feet in sandwich bags and put a rubber band around the top to secure them. Of course we didn't stay outside too long since that wouldn't keep her feet as warm, but it worked well enough for keeping her feet dry.

Thanksmas 2009

I'm going to skip over Christmas right now and go to Thanksgiving. Drew's family came out again this year for Thanksgiving (thanks everyone!!). As is our custom, we celebrated Christmas then too, so we've dubbed the holiday Thanksmas now.

I have SO many pictures from Thanksmas that I'm not even going to try to get them organized on here. So it'll just be a smattering of pictures from that time. Enjoy!

It was so nice meeting Natalie and having James join us too! Our family's growing!! And just think...next Thanksmas we'll have another "little one" around. :)
