Galveston 2015

In May, the Borton family all met up in Galveston, TX to spend some time together. We were there four full days and had a blast swimming in the ocean, playing at the beach, and catching up with family. Two other highlights from the trip were getting to meet Cathy's fiance, Phil for the first time, and our sweet nephew, Brian and Natalie's son Jack!

Since Hannah is now 2, we were required to buy her a seat on the plane, and we were told she had to sit in her seat, not on a lap.  Since she's not able to sit on her own, we brought along her carseat and attached it to the seat like we would in a car. We were hesitant as to whether this would work or not, but it was PERFECT! She did magnificent and was so much more comfortable being in her own seat. I'm so glad we did it!

An ice-cream truck went by and we just HAD to get a treat. It was actually their first ice-cream from an ice-cream truck.

We have so many great memories from our trip! Two highlights were getting to meet Phil, Cathy's fiance (and now husband), and meeting our newest nephew, Jack - Brian and Natalie's baby. We hands down approved of Phil and absolutely love him.  We're so glad he's a part of our family now! And of course we loved (finally) getting to meet Jack! He is such a sweet, happy baby!  Jenna and Grant especially enjoyed loving on Jack! Thankfully we only had to wait a few more months before seeing everyone again, since Cathy and Phil's wedding was in July - pictures to come!
