Belly Laugh
The other day my mom was over and she got Jenna to laugh harder than I've ever heard her laugh before. Unfortunately, I didn't grab my camera until near the end so you don't get to hear the real deep belly laughs, but I did catch a few on video.

Another video
We have a couple more videos we've taken over the past week, so I'll post one today and one tomorrow. This video's not too exciting - just an example of how badly Jenna wants to crawl. She gets up on her knees and rocks back and forth. Many times she'll take a few steps with her arms, but hasn't figured out how to get her legs to follow, so she'll just plop on her belly. The video also shows you one of her favorite pastimes right now - making bubbles.

First tooth
My little baby is no longer a "baby"...her first tooth popped through last Thursday (although it isn't all the way out yet) and today her second tooth on the bottom is now peeking through her gums. Poor little thing - two at once! Although, maybe that's better than having to go through this two separate times. She's handling it pretty well, but the days when the teeth are actually coming through the gums, Jenna seems to be much more clingy and fussy - who can blame her? I haven't been able to capture either tooth in a picture, but will once they're sticking out all the way.

Last week I decided to give Jenna a new look - a bow in her hair. Of course we had to do it "Bam-Bam" style, right spack dab on top of her head. Too cute!

Jenna absolutely loves being outside and she loves swinging. So since we don't have a playset of our own yet, we decided to take Jenna to a park with some swings. She had a blast...as did we!

Jenna has a new favorite food - sweet potatoes! I love how this picture makes her lips look HUGE.
Lastly, if you remember we had a nest in our hanging flower pot out front...well, the birds hatched. It's been fun watching them grow. They're both gone now - the last bird left the nest this morning. Now I can finally take down our nasty dead flowers out front. Our neighbors were probably about to call the HOA on us!

Trip to TX
Get ready for a lot of pictures... (not sure why the font is underlined - I can't seem to fix it)

Drew and I put Jenna in her floatie and then into the 1 foot baby pool. She LOVED being able to touch the bottom and "walk" around the pool.
She enjoyed just sitting in the chair playing with her pacifier

Jenna slept in the same crib that Drew slept in as a baby.
AND Drew's dad made the crib - very special!

1st airplane ride
Yesterday was Jenna's first airplane ride. Drew and I were both nervous that she would be one of those babies on the plane that everyone "hates", but she did a WONDERFUL job! A few people even commented afterwards how good she was.

Her favorite toy was a bag of popcorn
Picture with the pilot.
Funny story: at one point during the flight we saw the pilot walk past us to the restroom in the back. Drew turned to me and said, "Umm...who's flying the plane?"
The pilot let us sit in the cockpit
Lastly, here's a video of Jenna on the plane. Such a happy girl!

Green Beans Again...
Whenever I'd go over to my grandma's house for dinner when I was younger and we were having green beans for dinner, I'd say, "Green beans again..." Obviously I was not a fan of green beans. So that's become an inside joke in our family. Anyway, Jenna had her first taste of green beans last night. Again she seemed pretty indifferent about the whole thing. Here's a video of it...

Babble
Jenna's been babbling more recently. She's starting to say some vowels along with the consonants. In fact, it's sounded like she's said "dada" a few times (although she still has no idea what that means). Below is a picture of her razzing and making bubbles. Notice the huge amount of drool on her shirt!
Here's a video from today of Jenna babbling (and jibber jabbering) in her jumper. I was trying to get a video of her saying more of the vowel sounds, but once I get the camera out, she's mesmerized by it and stops what she's doing. Silly girl!

Here's another picture of Jenna asleep in Drew's arms. She's fallen asleep in his arms quite a few times. For some reason, she won't sleep in mine. I guess her daddy's arms are more comfortable!

I found this robe at a garage sale. I couldn't resist getting it for her!
This past weekend Drew and I drove to a family reunion in Indiana. Jenna did a great job, but was exhausted by the end of the day. I nursed Jenna in the car (in the parking lot) and she konked out afterwards. Drew held her while I brought the rest of our stuff out to the car to head home.
BIG yawn
...and she's asleep.
On a completely different note, we have a "guest" at our place. This dove made a nest in our hanging flower pot and laid 1 egg. If you know me, you know I'm very much an animal person and just couldn't tear down her nest. So I sacrificed my already dying flowers (I have a major black thumb) so she could lay her egg. She's been sitting on her egg for over a week now and she never leaves...no matter how close we get to her. It's amazing! I'm hoping we'll get to see the baby bird hatch.
