Jenna's Birthday Celebrations

Jenna's Birthday:
With Jenna's birthday being January 2nd, we get to start out the new year celebrating her!  This year she turned 6 years old - hard to believe!

We brought her "breakfast" in bed, as is our tradition.  The kids remember it now, and Jenna even told me that she had been laying in bed waiting for us to come in.  :) 

For her birthday we got her both an Elsa and Anna dress from the movie Frozen. 

I have no idea where she got this, but lately she's been "posing" for the camera.  Really...not a clue, but it makes me chuckle.

We like to spend the day celebrating the birthday person, so we took Jenna and Grant to the movies to see Penguins of Madagascar.

And then to her restaurant of choice - McDonalds. I'd say she had a pretty great birthday.  :)

Birthday Party(s):
The following day she had a birthday party with a few of her friends.  Of course it was Frozen themed and all the girls were invited to wear their favorite princess gown.

We played "pin the nose on Olaf."  We obviously need to work on the rules to this game with Jenna and Grant because when it was Jenna's turn, Grant kept telling her what to do, "Not there...up higher...over...". 

And then this happened when it was Grant's turn.  Can you tell Jenna's a "take charge" kind of person?  :)

Jenna's not a huge cake person, so a homemade Oreo Ice-Cream dessert it was...topped with some favorite Frozen characters of course.

Then the following day we celebrated her birthday with my family.  Who doesn't love three straight days of birthday celebrations?!

Lots of Frozen gear.  She's one happy little lady!
