Snippets from November

There's good reason as to why it's the end of January and I haven't updated the blog over the past few months - it's been BUSY!  But a good busy.  We've bought a house, gotten our house ready to be put on the market (which was WAY more work than I ever realized it would be), showed our home 11 times in a 9 day period, sold our house (within 12 days of listing it), celebrated the holidays as well as Jenna and Drew's birthdays, and had surgery on Hannah's eyes, along with all the regular, day-to-day tasks.  But more on all that later.  For now, here are a few snapshots from November:

Our tradition of Christmas tree shopping the day after Thanksgiving.  Thankfully this year the weather was quite nice.

We found the tree!

Going on a wagon ride.

We went to a Cedarville basketball game with some close friends who are also CU grads.

Despite their somber faces, the kids LOVE going to CU basketball games!

We got to some spend quality time with these cuties...overnight!  They're so much fun!

Love the twin cuteness!

Went to Jenna's Thanksgiving party at school.

All smiles, as usual

Straightened her hair on a whim one day and can't believe how different she looks...and grown up!

Celebrated Thanksgiving

Had a visit from Superman!

And Supergirl!

One night we heard a thud and ran upstairs to find that Grant had fallen out of bed...and hadn't even woken up.  Poor guy must have been exhausted!

We had a visit from B...

...which we all loved!

More Hannah cuteness

Snapshot with my baby

Grant enjoying some fresh air

Grant's way of picking up the toys is to just put everything on the couches.  Hmmm....not exactly how that works, but good try, buddy.

Decorating the Christmas tree.  I had a brainstorm this year to hang the ornaments on the drying rack to make it easier for the kids to help.  Plus it kept the process moving so they weren't waiting on me to get all the ornaments hooked.

I love reading to them before bed.

Freshly bathed!

We went out to lunch with some friends from church and Jenna and her friend Emma went to a separate booth to draw and color.  So cute!

Grant and his cousins showed up to Thanksgiving at my grandparent's house wearing the same shirts. Somehow Kelley managed to take this picture before they all started wrestling together.  They sure love each other!
